FWD thru Fashion

The Idea

FIAFILINE will create awareness to the Horn of Africa through Art. We will have a Fashion Show, that expresses the struggles of Kenya, Samolia,Djibuti and Ethiopia. We will donate proceeds from ticket sales, vendors, and local sponsors to the FWD campaign.

The Specifics

First we will reach out to our local colleges, intermediate schools and our community and seek help to research each country’s struggle, find out how we can end it. We will gather all of our research on the Horn of Africa crisis; and put together a documentary, which will be played throughout the fashion show, also use African materials, along with African music to help with the expression of the struggle. We will get outside institutions to support by purchasing VIP seats to the show plus anything else they wish to donate. The vendor fee will include donations for the FWD campaign. We will have vendors with Art to auction during the show to help support the Horn of Africa.We will also display the research that was collected.
